Observations and Keypoh-sation

Brace yourselves, I am about to reveal to you a million-dollar picture that can only be seen by so few. It is a view of high worth and very few people will get the chance to see it. It is a once and only lifetime chance to see such a significant picture and I am very proud to show it to you. Ladies and gentlemen, gentleladies and men, I give you...
THE VIEW OF TP FROM MY WINDOW
Gaaaaaaaahahhahaha~

Well, it IS a million dollar view, I can see TP straight out of my window and it's exactly the centre-front of the school. Who else has a view like that? Who can actually proudly announce that they can wake up every morning, open their window, and see the front of TP directly opposite? Who else can truely say that every time they return to their room and open their window the first thing they spot is TP? Who else can raise their from their desk, out the window and see TP? Who? I DO!

. . . . . .

Dang it. My life here is going to be so boring isn't it? Waking up every morning to the same view of the same school that I'll be attending for the next 2++ years. Great. Just great.

Here's a little something I noticed while looking out my window today(no, I DON'T look out of my window everyday just to see what's going on at TP, it just so happens that 'something' is going on there that is clearly visible -_-). They are putting up new banner on the walls in preparation for the Open House this coming January. Don't know who those people in the banner are, but they sure look happy studying in TP. Really? Do you really become the happy looking people in the banner when you study in TP?

Unfortunately that's never true(I don't know why am I even discussing about this). Today, today, today. I got my E-Maths 2 marks and not so proud, so I frowned. There is no eternal happiness when you study in TP, dear friends, no(I am not too sure what am I blabbering about so I'll end this topic abruptly . . . here).

Speaking of the Open House, if any one of my juniors or if you know of someone who is coming all the way from Kluang to the East of Singkapoor to TP's Open House during January, do let me know. I'll be glad to move you around and show you the what's special about TP(and the non-existant eternal happiness that you'll obtain here).

Another thing I want to keypoh about is a new trend among the boys of this part of the world. Boys, seriously, what's going on? What are you guys trying to prove here? What's the message here? Are you guys sure you're giving out the right signals?

That's right. It's the "manbag" trend. I'm not quite sure if I've made the word up, but I think I have heard of it somewhere...anyway, "manbag" is the men's version of the women's handbag. Seriously! Why are men carrying bags like women! Why!! It's weird...at least to me. It just doesn't suit right. Meterosexuality is definitely kicking in, with more men beauty products in the market, guys really care about how they look nowdays, which is a good thing. But, really, don't push the meterosexuality too far. It's not cute. Not cute at all. Unless you're Hugh Jackman. *wink wink*

Then the guys they have this look. Their wear a tight fitting top, could be body hugging V-Neck tee, or a button down, then they wear this pants which is just at knee length. Then they wear some really nice shoes...I don't have a pic of this look, but ask me, I can't point at any direction in school and I'm pretty sure my fingers will hit on some guy with that look. Anyway, the "gay-ish"(no offense, observations, no discrimination) look is acceptable, but unfortunately it works on some guys and not on others. So don't push it, and guys, try this look at your own risk! May send out wrong signals...I'm just saying.

Man-bag, not for everyone. Seriously, just don't. Unless you're totally adorable and gay. And the the look is totally NOT working on victim #2. FUGLY bag(it kinda looked like he stole his sister's handbag and then decided, "Hey, I could TOTALLY work this, sista!"*snap*), FUGLY dress up, FUGLY! You want a bag? Trash bag would have looked better on you.

Random TV quotes of the week:

"Why do you sound surprised? I love America. Just because I think gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all have hybrid cars doesn't mean I don't love America." - Liz Lemon(Tina Fey) on 30 Rock.

Phoebe: How can you let him talk to your crotch like that?
Rachel: He's talking to the baby.
Phoebe: Ohhh! Okay! Okay, 'cause when- when he said "I can't wait to hear your first words", I thought, there's a trick!

Ch-ch-cheeeeeeckit Ouuuuuut~

Right.

Let's get to it...School's starting tomorrow, I'm supposed to submit my CDS blog's URL for evaluation, that's done but the blog is completely empty - smart ass like me would choose a topic on politics, then crack my head thinking what am I suppose to write about, brilliant, another BRILLIANT choice, Kat - then I'm supposed to submit a flowchart for the Computer Programming project but I haven't done a single thing yet, so good luck to me. Finally I have the DFund2 soldering project which is about er, 60% percent done. Gah, school. I'm s0o0o0o0o0o looking forward to it. Can't you tell my enthusiasm? (-_____-)

This video has been out for sometime, but I don't know if it's on MTV yet or not(because I have no TV, nor MTV here in Singkapoor - yay -__-"). It's by my favourite idol(if you haven't already know), the awesome-tastic, one and only, Ms(again) Alecia Moore, Pink! Weeee~

Not one to shy from controversy and never afraid to do whatever s**t that she wants to do, this video is a little unconventional so I'm not sure if the full video will be on MTVasia. Pink's the original rockstar, strong vocals, great lyrics, loud fashion and in-your-face attitude. Katy Perry, yeah she's the amateur here. Wait no more, I give you, Sober by Pink. Cheeeeeckit ouuuut.

P!nk "Sober" Music Video

And when you've got nothing else to do, you do this. Does anyone really read this?
Chee Emily tagged me to do this, so I have to do it right? Here goes.

I Wanna Do Something(OMG is that a Britney's song?!)
1. Name the people you tagged. (10)
- Er, if you happen to actually read this, then I tag you, everyone. Or if you have nothing else to blog about. Hmph.

2. Describe yourself in one word.
- Human :)

3. Who would you pick, someone who really loves you, or the one you love?
- I'll pick my nose. Geeheheeh~ Ok, seriously, I'll pick someone who loves me(do you love me? :P). You can love someone with all you heart, but I guess it would be meaningless if that person hates you to the core.

4. Have you ever loved someone before but never had the courage to tell him/her?
- Gaaahhhahahahhaha~

5. How if people reject your confess face to face?
- I don't know...how? Drown myself in self pity. Then mooove on.

6. God is giving u just 5 more minutes before going back to heaven, IF you love someone special, what will you say to that person?
- Come with me to heaven. Gaaahhahaha~

7. What will u say to a person who doesn’t want to believe u?
- Very well then, the truth will show itself. Justice will prevail. GOOD trumps EVIL. Really, I have prove.

8. Was ever a time that you tried to learn to love someone?
- I don't need to LEARN, I know *smirk* Unless ofcourse, if I don't like that person then, like the words of some wise old men, "Let it be". Thanks, The Beatles :)

9. Do you have something special with you all the time?
- Yes. Ah, it's definitely something very special and dear to me. Something very important to me. Something that I cannot live everyday without. Without it, my world seems blur, I am aimless and my steps wobbly. I am so thankful for you, you are so important and special to me and I obviously would not go anywhere without you, my SPECTACLES :D

10. Long distance love?
- Is that some kind of special name for a cocktail drink?

11. Best place to cry.
- Best place? How about I name all the WORST places to cry...

12. Who do you love the most?
- Love is for all humanity. And cute fuzzy, furry little animals.

13. Tell us of your dream last night?
- Gaaaaahhahahahhah~ "Last night I dreamt of you, but will dreams ever come true?"

14. Ever hated someone so bad?
- That I want to choke them with my own bare hands until they scream and squeel for mercy while their face turn blue and their veins start popping on the surface of their skin and they gasp so deeply for precious air as the little cells in their body slowly give up and their hearts start beating faster and faster, until pumping blood no longer mattered? Nah, I wouldn't want to dirty my hands like that. Plus, I would be wasting precious energy on such insignificant creature >:)

15. The biggest & most hurtful lie you heard?
- Seriously Sarah Palin, do you still believe Alaska has borders with Russia?!

16. The last person you had a beer with?
- Beer. Sounds familiar. Does it taste like strawberry?

17. The last person you went to the movies with?
- Weeeee~ That was fun cause Ah Ping kept falling asleep during the movie. Need to slap her more. Tan FoLing, Prethesha and her friend Jolene(not to be confused with JOLE) was also there. Ooohhh popcorn....*zombified eyes*

18. The last person you talked on the cell phone with?
- Huh? Fauzan...dang...

19. The last person you hugged?
- Sorry, NOT a touchy-feely person. Except for special cases. Geeeheheh~

20. The last person you yelled at?
- I do alot of yelling. Like every morning. "Ikan, ikan...mari, mari, murah, murah!!!!"

21. In the last week have you kissed someone?
- "I kissed a ___ and I like it..." According to Malaysian radios, Katy Perry kissed something, a chair, a fish, a grandmother, a husband...oh, the possibilities. We just don't know what she kissed. No idea at all. *Roll eyes*

22. Think of the last time you were angry, why were you angry?
- Where the hell is the remote control!!! Where!!! I can't change the channel without the REMOTE CONTROL!!! ARrrrggghhhHH!!

23. If you could do anything or wish anything, what would it be?
- I wish I have more brains...so I can give some to Sarah Palin.

24. If you could have an all expense paid trip, where will you go?
- I'll visit Oprah so she can bring me to MORE places :D

25. What you hate the most?
- SPIDERS!!! They are EVERYWHERE!!! I'm fine with them as long as our live don't interfere with each other. They better not cross over to my territory, or THEY'LL BE SORRY! Or mostly, they'll just be DEAD >:)

26. What would be the hardest thing for you to give up on?
- On second thought, I wouldn't want to give up more brains for Sarah Palin. It'll just be a waste...

27. Five facts About Me:
- I talk, eat, sleep, breathe and live :)

28. Five things that scare me:
- Sarah Palin(she's more of a person than thing, but who cares)
- Spiders(wanna scare me? Try it)
- Myself(I surprise myself everyday...not really)
- Stinky people(again, I could only think of people...I'll write a THING next)
- High places(it's a THING right?)

29. Two Songs Playing in My Head Lately:
- I know this..."Sober" by Pink cuz I just posted it and er...Run by Leona Lewis.

30. Five Things I treasure in my life:
- Oprah(again she's NOT a thing, but who cares!), love, humanity, humility and GOD.

Another day in life as seen through my eyes.

Hmmmppppppphhhhhhh...

December 26th, another day spent in TP. Today we had the workshop thingy that we are supposed to attend. Basically, it's "supposed" to be an introduction into soldering, we were "supposed" to do some basic soldering that will help us better understand the next subject, Medical Devices. Fortunately, we started doing some soldering work for DFund 2 already so we don't need to cover so much of the basics stuff.

One of the practices is to solder ANYHOW and this is what I did :)

For the real circuitry, initially I had some problems with my connection. But much thanks to Dr. Ravi who was so helpful, he helped me identified my ONE wrong connection. All I had to do was to desolder it and re-solder again. Weeee~ Thank God it worked well and I was able to finish rather quick.

The rest of the day, I waited for Mirrra cuz she had some problems with her circuit. We were the last to leave and we walked happily with Dr. Ravi out of engine school. Then he proceeded to follow us out of the school...and after sending Mirrra off(she was rushing to see her Mirafie ;P), Dr. Ravi said he wanted to "kidnap" me for the day. Somehow, these few days I had a number of people saying that to me...didn't know I have 'high kidnap-able qualities'.

Back to Dr. Ravi, he just whisked me off for another tea + makan session with him. Then he started talking about everything under the sun. One thing we mentioned was that he admires amazing figures, one example Jesus Christ. He says Jesus was a wonderful man and he admired that he sacrificed for the people. He also said Jesus never dies :)

It's always nice to meet people who respects and take the effort to understands about another's religion, made me feel ashamed of not appreciating Christ's sacrifice when I'm a christian myself.

He then said that no one is holy except God, not even priests. And he said one bunch of stuff I can't remember right now. The point is, Dr. Ravi is er, very unique person. The way he sees life is rather different from the normal person. He has his own way of interpreting life and sometimes it's a little unconventional. And he likes to talk in examples, sometimes very deep, kinda philosophical stuffs(which gave me headache to understand some :-s, but it's interesting to listen anyway). If you like meeting different people, talking to people with different views and have alot of patience to listen to his views and stories, have a chat with Dr. Ravi. Huh.

Ok. Finish. I didn't get enough sleep last night and feel like crap now :-S

Quick shoutout to Jole who arrived back safely to the land of Singkapoor from Obama-land. Jole's in the pink of health :D

Now I know what Ah Ping bought for me the other day from Disney Land Tokyo ("p), thanks to Jole. The metal piece thingy...Thanks Ah Ping!! Gahaahha...I know I was being "true friend" when I ask-3-ask-4(in chinese), hope I didn't pissed you off, but you know I greatly appreciate whatever you gave and the most precious gift from would, ofcourse, be our FRIENDSHIP :D :D *grins from mouth to mouth* *high-5 Ah Ping!!**

So, this Christmas Season, let me be thankful to God, not for the meagre Christmas gift that I've received(thanks Momma for the Miao0o0o bag, thanks Rachie for the Ipanema, thanks Sammie for letting me call you all sorts of name like how you call me >:( You owe me Prosperity Burger!!!) but for all the wonderful people I've met throughout my insignificant presence on Earth and all the relationships that I've shared with all these people including all old and new friends, fellow Girl Guides & Scouts, KTSL contestants, teachers, neighbours, bunch of ladies on the Internet, everyone, EVERYONE. I am THANKFUL :)

Weee~ Term Test's over, Holiday's Here~!

Weee~ indeed :D

I'm done with term test and now happily residing at home for the holidays. Dang, I'm getting real lazy during the holidays...I'm so lazy to even blog...I've got loads of things I want to blog about, the will is strong but the body is just plain lazy ("p)

Term test was alright. I was such an angel(weeee~) in that I kept my laptop away from my sight so that I won't be distracted by the internet! But ofcourse, internet's not the only thing that can distract me...all in all, I think I did ok for the test, some mistakes here and there, but hopefully I can still survive. I did alot of studying(er...yeah, if you believe me :-X) with Jole, Lynnette, Jason-Watson and Rolls Royston. We studied(and ate, and talked and laughed courtesy of Lynnette) after each paper ended in school and it was pretty fun :)

Food for thought...Gehee~midnight snake while mugging for Biochem paper...not bad, for some soy bean food.

Er, don't know what she was doing, but from that wacky grin, you know my funny friend Lynette is not very stable, mentally :P

One of the days we even met online and played this viwawa thing. Studying konon! Gahah~~

Friday...

After our last Biochem paper, Jole asked me, Mira, Netss, Jason and Rolls Roys to do soldering in school, the reason being Jole's going away to OBAMA-LAND during the whole of the term break and she won't have time to do her soldering. So we camped in iT school and burnt away! :D

Geeheee...this is a sample piece, but I am working on my own ok! All I need to do is to just create an exact copy of the thing. Er, easier said than done.

Mira, Rolls Roys and Jason "hard at work" soldering...note the seriousness in their faces, otherwise not seen on them in their everyday lives.

Later...

Chiong back to home, KLUANG :D

On me way back to Johor, I passed by the new customs building, Iskandar something(hence everything else shall be named after the Sultan, buildings, spoon, chair, bed, car, pet-er, hope I won't get into trouble for saying that[read: ISA]). It's pretty impressive(compared to the old building *roll eyes* which is a piece of CRAP!), looks very high-tech and all, clean, ofcourse new, grey...which kinda makes me feel like they are creating something similar to Singapore's custom because of all the grey hues. One thing I do like about Malaysia is that they like to put simple touches to make it feel very, er, Malaysian-ish. They have incorporated black and white pictures of indigenous people from Sabah and Sarawak, you know a Iban warrior holding a shield kinda pics. Very nice, feels very home-y, its always nice to feel that human-touch when in a cold, big, corporate grey building. Nice work, you Johor people. I just hope its maintained nicely. If you do happen to cross the sea into Singapore through Johor Customs(or vice-versa), do pay attention to the little details :)

Next...

It's always nice to come home and meet up with my fellow Kluang-ians and all my friends(I :hearts: all ya'll!). Ah, the comfort of home, it gets sweeter since most of us had gone our separate ways after Form 5, and now we get to meet up and catch up with one another.

In the pics: Chee Emily, Tan FoLing, LyLyana and Ten Ten Tenssss and me at Old Town, Kluang :)

PS: Thanks lots and lots of lurve for my high flying friends(literally) Ah Ping(konnichiwa) and Shying(er, Sabah mari) for all your lovesss, especially Ah Ping for being host. All the best to Shying in furthuring your studies and may our, er, 5566 continue on aik!! Also equal lots of lurves for FoLing and Lying for all the laughter :D

Friendship last forever! We just decided to put a ring to it! Guess which is me?

To end this post, I shall post Explode by Uh Huh Her again. I posted their song in one of my earlier post, but I liked their song so much I'm going to post it again but this time with their official video. Do check it out, it's an awesome song.

Weekend Update 2.0

This week so far...

It had its ups and downs. The past Friday after school, I had lunch with Jole, Lynette and the boys of I803 at Mensa. Nothing much, but the boys are a bunch of really friendly and funny guys. Can have good chat with them, except Reuben who always talks nonsense to me! ("p)

After lunch, Lynette somehow used her evil powers of nonsensical-ness to tempt me into buying dessert...after a little persuasion, I cannot say no to some yummylicious and ice-cold almond jelly and longan...yum~!

Later we went to study at the library and tried our best not to look "suspicious" as we had illegally smuggled in snacks particularly sunflower seeds(something Jole has been craving for the whole week & she was finaly able to taste it...). Strangely though, something went very wrong with the library's toilet and Lynette and I went on a round the world trip in search of usable toilets. Some look er, red, some had questionable smell and some looks suspicious. So we ended up scouting 3 floors just for toilet...gahaa~ Then we continued studying...didnt know I am such a studious person right?! *suspicious smile*

Somehow, due to my inner hardworking-ness(gaaahahahah!!), I have decided and encouraged my friends Jole and Lynnette to study again on Saturday in school. But because you know me well enough, you would have known that I completely made the first sentence up.

Fortunately, Jole(the robot one) made up some kind of excuse of going to the EXPO for some iT fair on Saturday, so we did went to study in school and continued our smuggling of sunflower seeds into the library :D

Don't know exactly why, but I laughed so much with Lynette and Jole the two days(they said I SHOULDN'T speak chinese?!). Jole had said Lynette's laughter is contagious and it really is. I asked her, "Lynette, why are you lauging?!" and she said "Dunno, for fun," and started laughing again -________-"

Before we went to Expo, we had lunch at Pastamania in Tampines Mall. I had "Prawn Aglio" which is ok, but er, its pretty costly for a student. My pasta costs $9.60. That's just ONE PLATE, fyi, not a set. And its SING$. Gahaaa~I'm a poor student kay! But due to Lynette's influence again, we went for second round, DESSERT :D

Ice kacang...yummy! This Lynette girl, if you look at her she's like stick thin, so slim and slender but if you'd be surprised cuz she can eat quite alot >.<
Dang jealous of her! ("P) But she's a sweet(and mentally unstable) girl :)
Next...

At the Expo, all 3 of us bought 8GB thumbdrive for $25, thanks to Jole for surveying around for us. Jole's our techie friend. Need tech or gaming assistance can seek Jole(advertising Jole[yes she is a product, ROBOT]). Gahaha~

I bought another wireless mouse. I have concluded that I am a HORRIBLE shopper. I make hasty decisions that I will mostly regret. I already have a FREE wireless mouse with my laptop and I was "supposed" to buy a simple, normal optical mouse, but much thanks to my choosy(idiotic, stupidiot, senseless) self, I ended up purchasing another freaking wireless mouse that isn't working exactly like how I want it to.

My stupiak brainless self caused me to buy another mouse which I DON'T need.

And this was what my sister said in msn when I told her about my mouse purchasing.

(11:31 PM) R+ache+L:
OK, PLEASE GO AHEAD AND WALLOW IN YOUR OWN STUPIDITY ALONE THEN

Yes, my sister, thanks for your 'wise' words.
And then this is what my good friend, Ah Ping said.

(11:34 PM) Ah Ping: stupid
(11:34 PM) Ah Ping: idiot
(11:34 PM) Ah Ping: dumb
(11:34 PM) Ah Ping: waste money
(11:35 PM) Ah Ping: too much money means gif me la!!

Such 'supportive' friends and sibling I have.

Today my PSPS(Jole, Mira, Sunil, Anthony 2nd, Norman) group gathered at Jole's house(at her request) to discuss about our presntation tomorrow. This gave me the chance to have lunch at Mira's house :D

Her mum cooked some yummylicious black pepper chickyn...thanks to Mira + her mum!!

Then we head to Jole's house at around 2pm to discuss. The four of us pretty much completed all the work before Sunil and Norman showed up at 4pm...gahaha real 'punctual' bunch of people! But Norman's a pretty cool dude...be nice to him and he's quite ok :)

Then we slack around Jole's house playing games and http://hotel626.com/ and staring into space...weee~

Unfortunately Tay Yao Zong, my high school mate, has to be my victim. Thanks for your sacrifice. Let the games begin. *kudos to Jasmine Chan for the er, thing*

Arrogant, Insignificant, and Unworthy.

Tuesday.

What a horrible day for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you for ruining my day. Thank you so very much, for f**king up my day just as it was about to begin. I thank you for that. I thank you for your arrogant, ignorant and selfish ways.

Tell me again and explain to me, as to how a person of your status, as a teacher to the weak, how do you share knowledge with students when you carry with you all your egoistic, arrogant nature around? How is it possible to pass knowledge to people of lower intelligence when you build your selfish, male-ego around you and you prance around proud with your nose held high? How, as a teacher, do you walk around, stepping on your students' head, thinking they are less important than you, that they are lesser human than you?

Am I wrong in my interpretation of you?

But still, I have to thank you for calling me to your challenge. Your puke face awefulness has awaken me from my slumber. The bald spot on top of your head that you tried so hard to hide unsuccessfully every morning with what's left of your remaining hair so has led me to convince myself that you, like so many other arrogant, nonsensical man before you is not worthy of my feelings and attention. You are a mere obstacle. A hideous object standing in my way, challenging me and putting me through tests I wouldn't have dared taken on myself had I have a shell outside to protect me.

Though my countenance of innocence may fool you to think that I am weak, but I assure you, you puke face, that I am much stronger than that. I am more than who you think I am. I will rise up and be much more a human than what your sorry ass could ever achieve. I will realise my potential as a true human, with emotions and kindness towards those weaker than me. I will prove to you, you sickening monster, that I am much more WORTHY than you. I realise that I do not need to defeat you, I just need to be more WORTHY than your insignificant presence.

I would remember you in the most grimmest, coldest way for what you did to me. Unfortunately for you, your sorry ass would be classified on the other side of the fence together with all the dirts of society that I have come across in my lifetime. Or rather congratulations to you, for that is where you belong, along with others with the lowest ranks of humanity. Ignorant, ignorant man. You are nothing but a silly ignorant, naive old man, blinding yourself in your own world where you are the king and the rest are nothing. Arrogance, ignorance, blind.

In the words of Liz Lemon, "He can eat my poo."

I shall end this post with the ultimate ego song by the ego-man himself, Kanye West.

Nonsensical Topics

Wee~
New post.

Er. What should I post today?

Updates: Last week I saw "Korean" guy(I don't really know why my posts seems to begin with him) and Mira & I(aka Nonsensical Tag Team) seemed to noticed that he has noticed us peeking(in a classy way, and by that I meant I went completely GAGAA when I saw him!) at him. Er. Will update more on that topic tomorrow because tomorrow is WEDNESDAY!! And his lab will be just across mine!! Gah~!! HEHEeee...

Next...

Mariri went to RiRihanna's concert in Singapore!!! Gah~!!! I are DANG JEALOUS!!! HUH!!! That lucky girl! Unfortunately she 'forgotten' to pack me while on her way to the concert and I was left at me room facing the walls while Mariri gets to have all the fun IN FRONT OF RiRihanna...ARRGHH~!! I was so close, but so far away from RiRi! But come to think of it, I was actually very close indeed to Riri...geehehe~

Look at the following diagram for explanation:

See, I was so close!! Gah~!! RiRi!!! She's super hawt in her video Take a Bow, with her pixie haircut, hawt tank top and dreamy eyes. I just became a fan of hers after seeing that video...not that much into her before that but she's pretty awesome :D

Speaking of Take a Bow, here's a recording of RiRi performing that song at her recent concert that Mariri went to courtesy of Mariri. Thanks Mariri, but a better gift would have been to take me there with you!

Ok, enough of my fuming jealousy. I've gotten over RiRihanna. Next...

I went back during the weekends and it was fun to go back and meet my friends Ah Ping and FoLing. Too bad Gan Lying cant be there but we had fun. We watched the Thai + HK horror flick The Coffin. Mwaaahahhahaha~*devilish laughter*

The movie starred (the only person I could recognise who isn't a Thai star) Karen Mok. Not a big fan of her's and not a big fan of the movie. The movie was mediocre, nothing too unexpected, nothing too fancy and scary, the story line was just alright but it does has a nice conclusion to the happenings/mysteries. I would give it a rating of 3/5 overall and a rating of 3.5 for its 'horrifitastic' factor.

Would have been better if not for the hordes of uncivilised children running up and down the cinema + screaming loudly but unfortunately at the wrong timing to let the whole theatre know that they are scared when images of the "ghost" appeared + at one time screamed in the cinema at their equally uncivilised counterparts whether or not the latter needed to empty their bladder. Good God, what is wrong with these children?

Alright. Enough of condeming nonsensical children. Let's moove on...

Amy Lee and our love-hate relationship.

Love
: Her music, her writings, her songs, her ethereal voice, her styles, her talents, her VOICE, oh her voice.

Hate: She fired her ALL her original bandmates under Evanescence(or somehow managed to make them all leave the band!), acted all Diva-ish, was not welcoming and appreciative to her loyal fans(especially all the fans who used to post on Evboard.com).

According to wikipedia, Amy Lee has been writing some new materials and songs and doesn't know whether or not she would be pursuing a solo career. She is quoted as saying that she was "at a point where I don't know what is next." Great. Ofcourse you don't know what's next! You pathetic idol of mine! You singlehandedly fired (most of) your original bandmates and now all you've got left are two pathetic guitarist! How is that even suppose to be a real band?!

Despite her shortcomings, I cannot deny her talents, this wonderful lady has. Amy Lee was involved in the re-recording of the original soundtracks to the animated movie by Tim Burton, The Nightmare Before Christmas called Nightmare Revisited that was recently released. Other artists involved included The Plain White T's, Korn, The All American Rejects, Flyleaf and Marilyn Manson.

Amy Lee recorded a song called Sally's Song and recently performed it at the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Watch and marvel at her talents and dare me to hate her.

Rhymes and times...

I haven't written any real piece for sometime and I got a little rusty at writing. I used to write very often as the I was really inspired to write a while ago. I like to write when I'm inspired and when my emotions are pouring. That way, I can put the words together rather easily as they just flow and pour. But writing is also about practice and lots of reading which I haven't done in a while.

The "inspiration" is there, but more often, I am too lazy to write out any ideas or I simply just forced them away...which is a bad thing as nice pieces are just wasted >.<

The first two pieces in Malay were written a while back. They are simple and straightforward, nothing deep. My writing in Malay isn't good, so its just for fun, kinda experimenting with rhyming in Malay, kinda like 'pantun' but not really ("p)

Bulan mengambang di malam rindu
Ku masih di sini tanpa hadirmu
Bintang bermain di angkasa sunyi
Cintaku untukmu ikhlas dan suci

Luatan luas tanpa sempadan
Tanpamu di sisi ku dalam kegelapan
Gunung yang tinggi mencapai awan
Ku masih dibelai bayu kerinduan
Sungai mengalir tanpa henti
Seperti cintaku yang setia menanti
Bayu lembut membelai diri
Sedarkah engkau aku di sini?

--------------------------------------------------------------

Ku peroleh ketenangan dalam pelukan mu
Kau berikan bahagia dengan hadirmu
Tetapi tahukah engkau isi hatiku?
Bukan persahabatan yang hanya ku mahu

Tak bisa ku ungkapkan kata-kata cinta
Ku pengecut yang takut memburu bahagia
Cinta kasih darimu masih kupinta
Agar diriku dibuai kenangan mesra

Jiwaku bergelora karena hadirmu
Dirimu mampu menggoncang duniaku
Bagimu dirimu begitu berpengaruh
Hanya untukmu ku serahkan seluruh ku.

--------------------------------------------------------------

This last piece is my first attempt at writing after a rather long hiatus.Got a little inspired recently, but I'm so used to blocking out "inspirations" that I wasn't able to give it a proper ending. It's simple and short. Here goes.

The birds they flew
The chase the sky
I chase after you
For invading my mind

A sweet addiction
That fills my empty heart
A deep contradiction
Right from the start

Misses and kisses
That are never fulfilled
I'm caught in this sickness
That't becoming unreal

I longed for your touch
Every minute of the day
I missed you so much
Words are not enough to say

Your eyes, your smile
That tender skin
You make me wild
And startled within

Your mere presence
Brings such significance
Your ethereal countenance
Awakens my senses

You drive me insane
With a single touch of the hand
I longed to be driven
To your blissfool wonderland.

Comments are welcomed geehee~ ("p)

Check out this great indie band called Between The Trees (thanks to Jole). Their music is great and I love this song. Its great listening, just ignore the video. Press play :D

Weekend Update

Let me do a little update on what happened since my last post on the historical day in the history of mankind.

Geehehe~ One of the most significant thing that happened on the morning of 5th November(or late evening of 4th November in America) when Obama was announced as the next President was...I SAW THE "KOREAN" GUY AGAIN!!! GAH!!! :D :D

I was just coming out of the elevator heading towards the lab door when he came out of the loo and also headed towards the same door! He was just half a step behind me, so I let him pass infront of me just so that I can make sure it is him without turning behind and absolutely faint infront of him. Gaaahaha~!! It was so exciting!! He was standing just infront of me!! Me!! And our schedule is actually enable us to meet at the same lab!! Just that he's next door...GAH!!! I was so excited that morning...because of the meeting and ofcourse because of the election.

Speaking of the election, during lunch break that day, my classmates and I went to the library and was able to watch the live announcement of Barack Obama being elected as the next President!! I was literally jumping up and down with joy when I saw on CNN that Obama had won :P
And the only person I could think of celebrating the victory with was my dear Ah Ping!! Ah Ping had been a strong supporter of Obama since the beginning and I switched(from Hillary) to Obama after he was nominated the Democratic nominee. I so wished AhPing was there to celebrate with me >.<

Dang, I miss my friends!! I can't go back me home till next week coz this 'Problem Solving' subject needs us to prepare a presentation. I just think it creates more problem for me than solving any!

Next...

Hmm...oyeah, my issues in new media subject requires me to start another 2 blogs...Gah~Its not all that easy taking up that subject. One is to present an issue about the new media and I've chosen to blog about politicking in new media, about how politicians have tapped into the new media to garner fresh support. Another blog we have to do is on any theme that we like. Any suggestions on what theme I should do? Entertainment? Gaming? Baking? Cooking? Dancing? Music? Gardening??

The next day 6th November...

It was Jole's 17th burfday!! This is the girl who on random likes to say she is still 16. Not anymore!! Gaahaha! Jole's 17!! Happy burfday Jole~

During lunch break(alot seems to happen during lunch break eh), Mira, DeXing, Fauzan and I went out of school to Tampines Mall to get Jole a burfday cake and some snacks for the class. It was quite a fun thing to do cuz this was the first time we got together as a class to celebrate our classmates burfday. Fun day indeed. Mira and I gave Jole a leather cuff which she likes and DawnDawn and Mariri gave Jole a coin box(cuz Jole used to carry her coins in plastic bags -_-) and also a whole set of panda-ish utencils. Mariri seems to have some association with pandas.

Jole & her cake

Jole posing infront of cake

Some of the snacks we bought for the class

Chen Han's new style :D

Pic with Jole & Mirr after Biochem tutorial

I don't know what I took, but I sure look stoned...and a little kookoo -_-

Radhi was sneaking behind us!

Finally a perfect pic :D
Anyone noticed I've grown taller? xD

Oooh speaking of pandas, there's a picture of a panda on a sandwich machine in IT school, just below the picture of a beef sandwich with a picture of a cow. Hmm...yummy. But doesn't anyone else find that rather disturbing and misleading?

McCain's mum

Here's for more laughs. Comedienne Liz Feldman plays John McCain's mum.
See more funny videos at Funny or Die

Gaahaha!! My favourite lines:
"I'm 140 years old, I haven't been elderly in 38 years!"
"My son John McCain can do anything he puts his mind on...And he can fly. He can fly!"

And "Carak-Ogama"?!?!? ROFL!!

Last Look

Here's one last look at John McCain and wife Cindy before he's history(and by history I don't mean it in a bad way that he's dead and also not in a good way that he's written into history as President of USA, but in a not so good and not bad either way that he's doesn't become the next President of USA)

Do not let Palin 2012 become a reality, or the world would be doomed(we'll have to re-draw the map such that Alaska has borders with Russia).

Life today.
Let's see.

Today's Monday in Temasek Poly(TP). Our first lesson was lab work in Electronic Devices & Circuitry(EDEV). Mira and I concluded that we preferred Mrs. Kwong more! ("p)
Mrs. Kwong walks around the lab checking on each one of us, making sure we are doing the right thing and helping us with any problem. A WHOLE lot of things could go wrong even if it's patching up a little circuit, it's not as easy as it looks >.<

The current teacher pretty much just say there and expect us to complete the circuit on our own. She only walks around to mark our paper and monitor us a little bit...or to shush Sunil up, hehe~ Poor Anythony spent half the time trying to figure out what went wrong with his circuit cos he's reading wasn't right and the teacher only came to check up on our row at the very last minute, causing Anthony to waste all his time digging his brain to see what went wrong. She could have been a better help had she realised Ant was struggling earlier on.

Anyway, here's what I did today :D
Looks so basic and "wu liao" right. Yeah, it is. Look! The LED is lighting up! Why? Because the diode is forward biased! Dang, I forgotten about all the nonsensical stuff I learned about diode for Physics...it doesn't seem so nonsensical now -__-

Next...

What's next? Next we had a lecture on Digital FundaMENTALs 2. The lecturer is this lady probably around 30+ I'd say. She is very prim and proper, had tidy, straight-trimmed shoulder length hair where not one hair is out of place, she dresses corporately(really, like corporate) and she has that confident aura that lets one know she is in command and is serious, seriously.

We were there early for the lecture and she was kinda shocked and went on to question whether she was in the right lecture hall. Then smiled at us. Hm...where am I going with this? Mira and I concluded(me & Mira have become tag-teams in judging people :P) that she seemed less menacing and in demand and more friendly, sweet and approachable when she smiles. Me and Mira also concluded that if she smiles more, she looks more attractive than her robotic-lecturer-self. She does seems attractive, but unfortunately the lightings from the projecter and in the lecture hall does not do any lecturer any justice. Gahaha~

One thing that occured during the lecture that disrupted Miss. Prim-and-Pristine's lesson came courtesy of your's truly...gahaha! I was so embarassed!
I had not noticed that I had accidentally set my alarm for tomorrow, today. The alarm was ringing from soft to loud and I hadn't noticed that some sound was coming from my bag until Jole nudged me and said "It's your phone". By then, the alarm was ringing the maximum volume and Ms. Commander-Lecturer commented, "Why got radio huh?"

Too bad it had to ring just a few moments after Ms. Prim-and-Pristine looked menacingly at a student and said, "Please keep your handphone," in her ever-demanding tone. When I finally shut off the the alarm, I could feel my face burning with embarassment. Gahaha! I didn't even dared to look up and pretended to be doing my work :P

Here's the "radio" to my alarm.

You can't complain. That's a super nice song for my alarm. You can never go wrong with Usher. Except when he says, "Women have started to become lovers of each other as a result of not having enough men."
That's what I call nonsensical.

Later during lunch break...

While I was busy waiting for my Thai Mee Goreng(fyi, I waited for like 20 minutes just to get my mee goreng...I was so hungry), I suddenly smelled(is that a real word?) a whiff of chlorine. I could smell chlorine all the way when I walked from the food stall to my seat. It was quite strong actually and I felt like a little poisoned. I think it might have came from the air-conditioning...or something. When I sat down, I asked my friends if they have smelled the chlorine too, but none of them did. I looked around and everyone was busy enjoying their meals and chatting away, unaware of the smell of chlorine that still dances around my nose.

At this time, I had this "vision" in my head where no one had picked up the smell of chlorine(how many times have I mentioned chlorine?) and continued chowing down their food. Later, it will be too late and everyone would start feeling nausious, poisoned by the chlorine that mysteriously appeared and er, poisoned everyone. The school would have to shut down because everyone(and by everyone, I meant a whole lot of people who thronged the ITAS canteen) was poisoned and no one realised it at all...EXCEPT ME.

Then I got hungry and started chowing down my food...and completely forgotten about the whole "chlorine episode". Ofcourse, no one was seriously injured from the chlorine episode and no one got hurt during the course of my "vision".

The moral of the story is: Once you get older, you start worrying about nonsensical things like chlorine poisoning in school. Or, it's just me -_-"
